Court Convicted Foreign Pedophile

Kathmandu District Court convicted German Pedophile Albert Fred Klinicke on 2^nd April, 2018 for committing Child Sexual Abuses in Nepal. The Court sentenced the Klinicke for 9 years of imprisonment for abusing Kathmandu CIB 181, 7 years each for Kathmandu CIB 183 and Kathmandu CIB 186. And Court observed Rs. 100,000/- to each victim as a compensation.

Nepal Police arrested the Klinicke from Hotel Oriental Inn with 13 year old Child Kathmandu on 29^th June 2017. In the scene of crime itself, the child stated to the police that the perpetrator has sexually abused him 4-5 times within a year. During an investigation, Nepal Police found two more victims of Klinicke and nude pictures of abused children captured by him. On 24^th July, 2017, District Attorney prosecuted three cases of Child Sexual Abuse against him in Kathmandu District Court. Based on the victims/witnesses statements and other circumstantial evidences, Court found Albert Fred Klinicke guilty of committing crime of Child Sexual abuse in all three cases.

In coordination of Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), CeLRRd provided complete legal aid service to victims including FIR registration, legal counseling, and representation of victims in the Court. Klinicke is the 11^th foreign national who was convicted on a charge of pedophilia in Nepal with the Victim Legal Aid support of CeLRRd.
