Ms. S. Basnet (real name with held), resident of Motigadi-7, Triyuga Municipality, Udaypur district was abandoned by her family on 7th March, 2015. She had to pass the whole night at the bank of Triyuga river. The next day early in the morning, local people found her fainted as she had poisoned herself.
Local social worker, Yedu Dhakal, called CeLRRd- Udayapur seeking rapid response. The rapid response supervisor then immediately informed the district police office about the incident and she then coordinated to inform the concern family members, and to take her to the district hospital which then referred the case to B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Science Dharan (situated in another district, Sunsari) for further treatment.
