Location: Kathmandu based with frequent visit to Districts
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Coordinator will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Coordinate the implementation of all activities under Assigned Project.
Coordinate to develop phase-wise project plan in consultation with donor agencies and through in-house consultation
Develop M&E plan and conduct monitoring and evaluation in a regular basis as per the plan
Monitor and supervise legal aid lawyers to plan and implement district level program
Facilitate to provide legal aid to TIP survivors and file a case under HTTCA 2007
Facilitate to develop manuals and curriculum for TIP trainings that is going to be conducted under project
Coordinate to conduct TOT and training to the Anti-Human Trafficking Bureau on effective and specialized investigation of TIP cases
Coordinate to conduct TIP training to Attorneys and support staff of Court and Office of Attorney General and their refresher
Facilitate to conduct start-up workshop, and review and reflection meetings with project team
Maintain coordination and good communication with consortium partners to implement activities together and obtain information necessary for reporting and monitoring purpose
Document required information of project activities and update organizations information as required for reporting and publications
Perform other activities deemed required for organization as directed by Senior Program Manager
Required skill and competencies
Master degree in any relevant field, preference will be given to law and gender studies;
Minimum 2 years of experience in development projects, report writing especially in Monitoring and evaluation/data management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.);
Demonstrates leadership and management skills,
Ability to multitask,
Takes initiative,
Creative problem-solving skills,
Flexible, Organized, Collaborative, &
Excellent Communication skills
Understanding and experience with modern database and information system technologies;
Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software;
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word etc.);
An analytic mindset with problem solving skill;
Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
Good time-management skills;
Team player;
