Consultative Workshop with Gandaki Province Held

On 19^th of January, 2022 the provincial consultation program with Gandaki Province was held by CeLRRd in coordination with the Legislative Committee Gandaki Province. There was the of the chairperson and the members of the Legislative Committee; Hon’ble Speaker of the Parliament; representative from province ministries, Chief Attorney of the Province, the Executive Director and Coordination Officer of NCRC; representatives of Nepal Police, NGO Federation Gandaki Province, Representative of Child Care Homes Network Gandaki Province and other I/NGOs at the event

The main purpose of this event was to have comprehensive discussion on the “Provincial Bill Related to Developing Provisions on the Rights of the Children, 2077” developed by Gandaki Province andto support the province government for setting up or strengthening CP/TIP mechanisms at the provincial level.

The comments/remarks provided by CeLRRd on the bill was appreciated by the legislative committee and the organization was requested to provide written comments on the document.
