Center for Legal Research and Resource Development (CeLRRd) is a non-profit national level NGO, working to promote Access to justice for community people, for more than three decades in Nepal. CeLRRd is currently in process of implementing the project titled “combating sexual exploitation of children” generously supported by ECPAT Luxemburg. Under this project, CeLRRdinvites qualified candidate for this position to work in its center office. Initially, the appointment will be for a period of one year, with the possibility of further extension.

Location: Kathmandu Valley based
Duties and responsibility of Project Coordinator:
Contribute for the implementation of entire project activities under the guidance of executive director
Coordinate and communicate with project staffs, relevant stakeholders, partners and donors as required.
Document project activities, develop knowledge documents, prepare organizational and project progress reports and submit it to the director, donor agencies and partner agencies as per the requirement;
Disseminate information to relevant stakeholders and general public as necessary.
Make visits and coordinate with local governments and Cyber Bureau to ensure the smooth implementation of the program as per the direction of executive director;
Provide supports in improving project visibility.
Prepare project implementation plan.
Build coordination with partner organizations for the effective implementation of project activities.
Coordinate and assist in research activities and development of IEC/Knowledge materials.
Follow the duties and responsibilities as assigned by the job description and organization’s policy;
Maintain the confidentiality of the organization;
Make inter organizational correspondences as per the direction of the executive director;
Perform other activities wherever and whenever necessary in relation to the project as per the direction of executive director.
Work full time.
Academic Qualifications and Experiences:
Bachelor degree in law or related field;
At least 3 years of experience on handling human rights or child rights project will be an asset
Good skills on writing reports, emails, host programs, deliver training session
Good coordination skills
Fluent in Nepali and English languages with good analytical and report writing skills
Proficiency in Power Point, Microsoft Word, Excel, Nepali and English typing.
